There are two rallies in the city of Mytle Beach each year. The Myrtle Beach Spring Rally ranks in the top 3 of motorcycle rallies across the United States. Over 300,000 bikers converge on the streets of the beachside vacation destination in May every year. Shiny chrome accents glisten on the bikes packed like silver sardines on the roadway running along the sandy beach. So many are on the main drag that they have to change the traffic pattern! One way only.
Its sister rally, The Myrtle Beach Fall Rally has been dubbed the Pilgrimage by those in the know. It's a smaller rally than in the spring. Less than 1/4 of the bikers that come to town in the spring, ride in for the fall festivities. In the fall you have less traffic around the seaside town and lower prices on popular beachfront lodging.
Combine 60 miles of beautiful beaches, plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures, neon and nightclubs and you can't go wrong in Myrtle Beach during any season.
